Player / Game Modes

PLAYER
When starting a game, players will be given a distinct color shirt and golf ball, along with the choice to play as either a male or female golfer. Initials for player identification are entered after the first hole is completed. Additionally, after Player 1 hits their first shot, the group will be given a choice to alternate shots after each putt or after each hole.

GAME MODES
PowerPutt can be played with up to sixteen players at once! One to eight players can play against one another to compete for the location's high score or group bragging rights! Tournament play is also available for four to sixteen players. Set in the golf-oriented "shotgun" format, each golfer will start their round on a different hole. Depending on the amount of players, there will be either two or three nine-hole rounds until a champion is crowned.

ROTATE GOLFER / OVERVIEW
By pressing or holding down the LEFT or RIGHT buttons, players can alter the aim of their golfer. Holding down either of the buttons will turn the golfer further, while a quick tap will just change the aim slightly.

By pressing/holding down the overview button, the camera lifts and gives a better look at the overall hole. This can be very handy for longer and multiple elevation holes.

TRACKBALL
Trackball The trackball controls the speed and direction of every shot. The more force applied to the trackball, the quicker and further the golf ball will go. Just like putting in Golden Tee, the pullback (or backswing) direction has no effect on the shot. The direction of the forward swing, on the other hand, will directly impact where the ball goes.
