A short while back, we did a feature on an unknown member of the PowerPutt community that has started collecting some of his great holes-in-one and showing them off on YouTube. (You can check out Part 1 here)
Since PowerPutt is an offline game, saving these shots directly on the game isn't possible – but that hasn't stopped North Carolina player Matt Tranphuoc from recording his own shots and posting them online!
After seeing our first story on his shots, Matt contacted us and gave us a little background on how and why he was going the extra mile to show off his love for the game.
"I saw that Golden Tee had added the automatic YouTube upload feature to the game and was jealous," Matt said. "I've never been too good at playing Tee, but I have gotten pretty decent at PowerPutt. I thought I would try and showcase these shots by taping them and sharing them on the web.".
And has he ever. Matt, aka MAT, aka mtprice1978, has uploaded more than twenty-five PowerPutt shots on YouTube and expects to upload many more! While taping and playing at the same time would be tough for many, Matt says it hasn't been a problem whatsoever.
"I've gotten use to holding my camera and playing at the same time, so it really hasn't changed the way I play, Matt commented. "Not only does it not alter how I play, it feels good to know that my great shot can be recorded and seen if I hit one. I have had a lot of fun doing it so far."
Expect more shots from MAT in the future. For now, here are a few more of Matt's holes-in-one that he has been kind enough to share. Enjoy!
